Biography

I was born in Bellavista (Iquique) Chile, salt mines of nitrate town, now a ghost town, this is located in Northern Chile. Desert.


My life is related to travel, I have had a nomadic life, daughter of a pilot of the Chilean Air Force. Since my childhood I have traveled throughout Chile, down to Punta Arenas at the other end of the country.

My life is related to travel, I have had a nomadic life, daughter of a pilot of the Chilean Air Force. Since my childhood I have traveled throughout Chile, down to Punta Arenas at the other end of the country.


After 18 years on, I reside in Maryland, USA. At 21 I married a career diplomat who went to open the Embassy of Kenya, for the first time. Four and half years I lived in Nairobi, Kenya, Africa, and then move to Bogota, Colombia, traveling Ottawa, Canada, London, England, Panama and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Then take up residence again in Chile, leaving a widow at 28 years with two daughters, contracting again marriage to a Civil Engineer Mining and retrace the cities of Copiapo, Vallenar, where two children were born.


All these trips, experiences with different cultures, races and creeds, is what has motivated me a passion for painting, adhering to the expression of fusion, incorporating elements from different cultures and ethnic groups. issues Amerindian, European, African, Arab, Miners. My current residence is in the capital of Chile, Santiago.
