I was born in Bellavista (Iquique) Chile, salt mines of nitrate town, now a ghost town, this is located in Northern Chile. Desert.
My life is related to travel, I have had a nomadic life, daughter of a pilot of the Chilean Air Force. Since my childhood I have traveled throughout Chile, down to Punta Arenas at the other end of the country.
After 18 years on, I reside in Maryland, USA. At 21 I married a career diplomat who went to open the Embassy of Kenya, for the first time. Four and half years I lived in Nairobi, Kenya, Africa, and then move to Bogota, Colombia, traveling Ottawa, Canada, London, England, Panama and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Then take up residence again in Chile, leaving a widow at 28 years with two daughters, contracting again marriage to a Civil Engineer Mining and retrace the cities of Copiapo, Vallenar, where two children were born.
All these trips, experiences with different cultures, races and creeds, is what has motivated me a passion for painting, adhering to the expression of fusion, incorporating elements from different cultures and ethnic groups. issues Amerindian, European, African, Arab, Miners.
